ChatQuote

AI quoting software for service businesses

AI quoting software that turns website enquiries into itemised quotes

An assistant on your website asks prospects your questions, day or night, then drafts an itemised quote and branded proposal from your own rates for you to review.

30-day free trial · No card needed · Set up from your website

A sample chat on a web studio’s website: the assistant asks a clinic owner about the site they need, and their quote of £8,352.00 is ready to review.

The quoting bottleneck

Enquiries don’t wait while you finish the job you’re on

By the time you’ve asked your questions and written the quote, the prospect has asked two other firms.

  • Replies that arrive too late

Enquiries arrive in the evening, at weekends and while you’re on site.

  • Email tennis to scope the job

Days of back and forth about size, timing and scope before you can price anything.

  • Quotes written after hours

Hours spent copying old quotes and checking VAT, for a job you might not win.

How it works

From first enquiry to itemised quote in four steps

Most of the setup is automatic.

  1. 1

    Point it at your website

Enter your web address and ChatQuote learns what you sell and how you work.

  2. 2

    Teach it how you price

Upload a few past quotes so it learns how you price.

  3. 3

    Test it, then go live

Play the prospect to see its questions and quote, then switch it on.

  4. 4

    Review and send the quote

Each finished chat leaves a draft quote and branded proposal waiting on the lead’s page.

Nothing goes live until you flip the switch.

The assistant on your website

A lead generation chatbot that runs your discovery call

It asks the questions that decide scope and price, a few at a time, then hands the lead to you.

  • Asks the questions you’d ask

Learned from your past quotes, with your own rules first, such as “always ask about access”.

  • No forms to fill in

It asks for name, email and phone naturally, during the chat.

  • Your brand in the chat

Your name, logo, colour and greeting, with no “powered by” badge.

  • You decide how prices are discussed

Allow a non-binding ballpark from your rates, or keep prices out of the chat.

  • On your site or behind a link

Paste one line of code into your site, or share a chat link.

  • Unfinished chats still become leads

If a prospect drifts off mid-chat after leaving their details, you still get a quote from what they said.

Price estimates in the sample chat
The end of the sample chat: the prospect answers the questions and gives their contact details, the assistant recaps the project, and the chat closes. Its reply about price: “Projects like this usually come in between £6,000 and £9,000 plus VAT. Your itemised quote will follow.”

AI proposal generator

Itemised quotes and branded proposals, written from your own pricing

Each draft follows the way you quote and comes with a branded PDF proposal.

  • Priced the way you price

Day rates, per unit, fixed fee or monthly, taken from your past quotes and catalogue.

  • Nothing left implied

Assumptions, exclusions, timeline and your usual payment terms are in the first draft.

  • Change it by saying what to change

Type “make the booking integration three days” and see exactly which lines changed.

  • Your document, your look

Classic, Modern or Minimal, with your logo and colour and no ChatQuote branding.

A sample itemised quote from the web studio: 4 sections of day-rate lines, VAT and a total, with the booking integration line just changed by a chat request.

Setup and learning

It learns your business from your website and past quotes

No rulebook or prompts to write. It does the reading and takes feedback like a new hire.

  • Researches your website at sign-up

It reads your homepage and up to 40 of the pages it links to, then writes your briefing and service catalogue.

  • Learns from quotes you’ve already sent

It picks up your rates, VAT, payment terms and the questions to ask before quoting.

  • Shows you what it learned

See how it thinks you price, the typical effort per item and the questions it will ask.

  • Coach it in plain English

Say “our day rate is now £520” and it updates itself, listing every change it made.

  • Keeps up when your services change

Added a service? Refresh from your website 1 to 3 times a month depending on your plan.

A sample of what the assistant learned from 12 past quotes: its day rate, VAT, payment terms, typical effort per work item and the questions it asks, plus a coaching message that adds a rule.

You stay in charge

Review every quote, or let it run hands-free

AI drafts, people decide. Choose how much to automate.

  • Approve and send, or send automatically

Every proposal waits for your “Approve & send”, unless you switch on automatic sending.

  • Test drive with simulations

Play the prospect 5 to 20 times a month depending on your plan. Nothing is emailed or counted as an enquiry.

  • A go-live switch

Your chat stays closed to visitors until you switch it on.

  • A reassuring sign-off

When you review before sending, the chat can end with your own “request received” message.

The assistant’s settings: proposals held for approval, price estimates on, the assistant live and 8 of 10 monthly simulations left.

Leads and team

Your enquiries in one place, with the whole conversation

See at a glance who asked for what and where each enquiry stands.

  • One-line project summaries

Each lead gets a one-line summary. Search by name, email, phone or request.

  • The full transcript

Read or download the whole conversation before you call.

  • An email when a quote is ready

Admins get an email with a link straight to the lead.

  • Quote leads from anywhere

Add a phone or email enquiry from your notes or documents and get the same draft quote.

  • Roles for your team

Members work the leads; quotes, rates and settings are for admins.

A sample leads list with four enquiries, each with a one-line summary and a stage, and a notification email saying a quote is ready to review.

Why ChatQuote

Why not a quote form, a price calculator or ChatGPT?

Chatbots stop at the lead, and quoting tools start once someone types in the scope. ChatQuote does both.

  • A quote request form

Someone still has to ask the follow-up questions and write the quote.

    Stops at
    Collecting a message.
    ChatQuote
Asks the follow-ups while they’re on your site, then drafts the quote.
  • A website price calculator

Formulas you build and maintain, and bespoke jobs don’t fit them.

    Stops at
    What you pre-programmed.
    ChatQuote
Learns from how you’ve priced past work and asks what makes this job different.
  • ChatGPT

It can format a quote once you give it the scope and the prices.

    Stops at
    The text you paste in.
    ChatQuote
Knows your rates, talks to prospects on your site and writes your branded proposal.

Here are the specifics, rather than badges.

  • Data stored in London

Your database is hosted in London; some processing, including the AI models, happens outside the UK.

  • One-click erasure

Delete a lead and its chat, quotes, proposals and documents go with it.

FAQ

AI quoting software: frequently asked questions

What is AI quoting software?

AI quoting software drafts quotes for you. ChatQuote also talks to the enquiry on your website first, then writes an itemised quote and branded proposal from your own rates for your team to review.

Can ChatGPT make a quotation?

It can lay out a quotation once you give it the scope and prices. It doesn’t know your rates, talk to your prospects or produce your branded proposal; ChatQuote does all three.

Can I add an AI chatbot to my website that gives customers a price?

Yes. Paste one line of code into your site or share a chat link, and choose whether it gives a non-binding ballpark from your rates or never mentions prices.

Will ChatQuote send quotes without my approval?

Only if you switch on automatic sending; otherwise every proposal waits for your “Approve & send”. It never sends a proposal twice, or one that’s out of date.

What’s the difference between a quote and an estimate?

A quote is a price for clearly defined work; an estimate is an approximate figure that may change. ChatQuote’s in-chat ballpark is a rough, non-binding range, and its quotes spell out assumptions and exclusions.

How does ChatQuote learn my prices?

From your website, the homepage plus up to 40 of the pages it links to, and from past quotes you upload as PDFs with selectable text, or as text, Markdown or CSV files. You can see what it learned and correct it in plain English.

Will prospects see my other clients’ quotes or prices?

No. Past quotes only teach it how you price and are never given to the assistant that talks to prospects. With ballpark estimates off, your rates are withheld from it too.

How long does it take to set up?

Most of it is automatic: researching your website took about two minutes in our own test. Then add a few past quotes, run a test chat and paste one line of code into your site.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every workspace starts with a 30-day free trial with no card required, including 5 enquiries and 5 simulated conversations per calendar month.

Where is my data stored?

Your ChatQuote database is hosted in London, and some processing, including the AI models, takes place outside the UK. In ChatQuote, only your admins can open quotes, proposals and rates.
