Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ChatQuote, provided by ChatQuote. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. The service

ChatQuote is software provided to account holders and the members of their organisations. Access requires an account and a free trial or an active subscription. We may change or discontinue features, and we will give reasonable notice of changes that reduce what you have paid for.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 and give accurate details. You are responsible for activity under your credentials and must tell us promptly if you suspect misuse. Organisation administrators are responsible for the members they invite or approve and can remove them at any time.

3. Trials, billing and refunds

New accounts get a 30-day free trial without a card. Subscriptions are billed per organisation, monthly, in advance, by our merchant of record, Paddle, who issues invoices, collects applicable taxes and handles refunds under its buyer terms. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of enquiries and fair-use limits shown on our pricing page, which reset on the first of each month. An upgrade takes effect straight away and the difference for the rest of the billing period is charged at once; a downgrade also takes effect straight away, with no credit for the rest of the period. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period and nothing further is charged.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, send spam, probe or disrupt the service, or process data you have no right to process. We may suspend or close accounts that do, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

5. Your data and our software

You keep all rights to the data you put into the service and grant us only what we need to operate it for you. We keep all rights to the software. Feedback you give us may be used without obligation.

6. Availability and support

We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it; maintenance and outside events can interrupt the service. Support is by email at support@autoquote.codeleap.app on business days.

7. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Termination

You can delete your account from the Account page at any time; it is hidden immediately and its data is removed after 30 days. We may close accounts that breach these terms. Sections 5, 7, 9 and 10 survive termination.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect; continued use after that date is acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
